a Cause
These amazing rescues depend on fundraising events, adoption fees, and donations to continue their incredible work! Support them by coming to Howl-O-Ween! Enjoy delicious food, shop local goods, and even meet some special guest dogs looking for love!
Sit With Me Rescue is run by a dedicated group of volunteers based in Ontario & Quebec. Since their start in 2012, they have helped network well over 1000 dogs with other reputable rescues and have taken in over 1200 dogs into their care.
For the Love of Dogs provides safe, loving, and reliable foster homes to any and all dogs in need. With a particular focus on senior and special needs dogs, FTLODs provides protective, stable environments to ensure they set dogs up for the best opportunity of success.
About
Howl-O-Ween is a free, family friendly party which features a dog costume parade with local judges, a merch stand with custom shirts and stickers for sale, snacks, a photo booth and a market! The event takes place in Parkdale Park in Hintonburg.
Our goal is to bring the amazing Hintonburg community together, be festive, celebrate dogs and support local dog rescues.

Howl-O-Ween is for anyone that loves dogs, not just dog parents. There are vendors for everyone, and activities for everyone to take part in.

All breeds and dog sizes welcome.
We want this to be a safe event for everyone. You know your pet best - if they are uncomfortable with noise, people, other dogs or children this may not be an event for them.
Dogs must be up to date on core vaccinations and not currently sick with a contagious illness. -
Entry is free! But we would love if you RSVP’d on the website.

All dogs must be on leash at all times or in a suitable stroller/carrier. Parkdale Park is not a dog park and we have had special permission to host a dog event there.

Proceeds from the sale of the Howl-O-Ween merchandise will go towards 2 local dog charities. We are also accepting physical donations for the dog rescues (food, pee pads, leashes, etc.)

Street parking is available.

We expect all participants to follow our event rules, which include leashing requirements, waste disposal, and respectful interactions with other dogs and attendees.
Water and extra poop bags will be available at the Howl-O-Ween merch table. -
We encourage you to dress appropriately and prepare for all conditions but there is a rain date Sunday October 19.

There will be an on-site event photographer as well as a photo booth!
